Summit Credit Union Drive-Ups Open; Branch Access Restricted
MADISON, Wis.—Summit Credit Union has announced that beginning Wednesday, March 18, Summit Credit Union will be primarily serving members through drive-up access, our Contact Center, website, online and mobile access options. Fifteen (15) locations will have drive-up only access effective Wednesday, March 18. Fourteen (14) additional locations’ lobbies will be open through Saturday, March 21, after which these locations with have drive-up access only as well. Several locations without drive-up facilities will have no public access, effective Wednesday, March 18. A complete list is provided below.
At this point it is anticipated that branches will fully re-open on Monday, April 6. However, this will be reviewed as that date approaches. For updates on branch closures and amended hours, visit www.summitcreditunion.com.
While lobby areas will be closed, drive-up tellers, the Contact Center, online and mobile access as well as online loan applications will be unaffected and will be operating during normal business hours. For everyone’s health, Summit encourages all members use the Contact Center, online and mobile access options. Members with scheduled appointments will be contacted by Summit staff via phone. The closures are a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of members and employees as the situation develops and not as a result of any known cases of COVID-19 among staff.

As part of its response plan, Summit’s contact center will remain open during regular business hours. Members can call Summit at 800-236-5560 as usual. During branch closures, callers may experience an increased wait time due to a higher volume of calls.
Members are also encouraged to use Summit’s mobile, online and voice banking services throughout the closures. With the free Summit mobile app and online branch, members are still able to access their accounts, pay bills, make loan payments and transfer money between accounts.
