Summit Credit Union Opens Branch on State Street, Madison
State Street location is the $3 billion credit union’s 36th office
MADISON, Wis.—Summit Credit Union has opened a 2,250-square-foot branch on the ground level of the Hub Madison apartment complex located at 567 State St. Branch hours are 9 a.m.–5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m. on Fridays and 9 a.m.–12 p.m. on Saturdays. The branch, which includes a walk-up ATM, employs six people.
Kim Sponem, president & CEO of Summit Credit Union, commented, “We’re excited to bring Summit to Madison’s vibrant downtown and campus area with our new branch in the middle of State Street. In addition to bringing the residents and businesses of downtown a full suite of banking services, with better rates and lower fees, our new branch features a unique open-air feel and interactive tools providing the financial education we’re known for. We’re really looking forward to getting to know our new neighbors in the heart of Madison’s downtown.”
Sponem said the credit union also wants to provide access to members who are visiting downtown Madison and find the Hub branch convenient as they are walking along State Street.
The State Street location brings the total to 36 Summit Credit Union branches in central and southern Wisconsin.
