Summit Financial Advisor Again Awarded “Woman of Distinction” Honor
Madison native receives national leadership honor for 10th consecutive year
MADISON, Wis.—Jody Brown, vice president of wealth management with Summit Financial Advisors located at Summit Credit Union, has been named a Woman of Distinction by CUNA Brokerage Services, Inc. (CBSI) for the tenth consecutive year. The annual honor recognizes an exclusive group of female financial advisors for their excellence and accomplishments in promoting financial security.
CBSI presents the Women of Distinction honor to top female financial advisors across a vast broker-dealer operation. Candidates are nominated by industry peers, while final selections are based on criteria including annual performance metrics and quality of service to clients.
“Jody Brown continues to demonstrate excellence in leadership and mentorship. Her contributions help many thrive in the financial services industry,” said Jennifer Klein, senior manager of CBSI Learning and Development/CUNA Brokerage Services, Inc.
As part of her recognition, Brown will participate in a national mentoring program where she’ll mentor and develop resources for female advisors new to the industry.
Brown, from the Madison area, has been a Summit employee for over a decade, helping members achieve goals through services including retirement planning, financial management, insurance and wealth management. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional and has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) and Certified Life Underwriter® (CLU®) designations. A graduate of UW-Madison, Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in consumer affairs in business.
