Summit Credit Union’s Project Teen Money Awards Local Student $2,500 Scholarship
Annual financial education challenge awards six Madison students total

MADISON, Wis.—Summit Credit Union announced the winner of its 2018 Project Teen Money program, its annual financial education challenge created by the member-owned cooperative to encourage students to learn about finances. Bridget Thompson, a junior at Madison’s La Follette High School, earned the highest point total this year and received a $2,500 continuing education scholarship from Summit at an award banquet earlier this week.

Summit Credit Union Invites Credit Unions to Join Movement for Global Good
MADISON, Wis.—Last year, Summit Credit Union launched its VISA Global Good Card in partnership with the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU). Summit donated $10 for each card opened and 20 percent of all interchange fees on purchases to WOCCU’s Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions. Additionally, participating members could make cash donations via their rewards points.
