MADISON, Wis.—Summit Credit Union, Madison, WI, has declared a $2.08 million dividend, called Cash Boomerang, to its members. More than 51,000 Summit Credit Union members recently received announcements detailing the amount of their 2017 cash payout. The amount for each member was based on the financial success of Summit Credit Union as well as how much the member saved and borrowed with Summit between October 1, 2016, and September 30, 2017.

The 152,000-square-foot, six-story building will demonstrate the financial cooperative’s dedication to sustainability and feature expansive wellness spaces for Summit employees along with a full-service credit union branch.

MADISON, Wis.—Summit Credit Union’s seventh annual Co-op Connection took place over the weekend on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., just off the Capitol Square. Nearly 4,500 residents attended the free event and visited with cooperatives throughout Wisconsin.

MADISON, Wis.—Summit Credit Union awarded its 2017 Credit Union Movement Scholarships this week, naming Stephanie Wallen of Waunakee the first-place recipient of its $1,500 scholarship and Jessica Wolenec of Madison the second-place scholarship of $1,000. This award is just one of the many ways the member-owned financial cooperative, which collectively gives over $20,000 in scholarships to area students each year, supports education.
