When the Credit Union industry is strong, so is Summit and so are our Members!

Summit Credit Union is an industry leader in political advocacy. We work with industry organizations to promote credit union–friendly legislation on behalf of our own members and the interests of more than 3 million Wisconsin credit union members.

By cultivating pro-credit union relationships and also proactively making sure regulators, legislators and other community and industry leaders are familiar with the credit union movement, we increase understanding of and appreciation for the Credit Union Difference. This in turn helps credit unions:

• Remain a strong, valuable consumer choice in the financial marketplace
• Increase membership
• Advance legislation benefiting credit unions and their 3 million members in Wisconsin
• Shape public policy issues in Wisconsin affecting financial services
