Co-op Connection is a public celebration of cooperatives and all that we contribute to our communities and the local economy, as well as an opportunity for us to live cooperative principle #6 - cooperation among cooperatives.

Co-op Connection is a perfect place to celebrate all that your co-op contributes to the community. All participating co-ops should have an interactive booth, which could include product selling or sampling, a demonstration, game or giveaway. Each booth is also required to have a prize drawing, with a suggested value of $25-$200. A gift card to your own co-op is a great giveaway!

Selling and Sampling

If you are selling or sampling pre-packaged/previously prepared food items* at your booth, you will need to fill out forms required by the City of Madison. These will be provided prior to the event. Summit will cover the cost of sales permits. 
*Public Health of Madison & Dane County requires that all food sold at a temporary food stand be prepared in a commercial kitchen. 

Electrical 

Co-op Connection will not provide electricity. Exhibitors must plan to bring their own generators if power is required. Please note: plugging into city light poles is prohibited.

Set-up

On day of event, set-up will begin at 7 am and everyone should plan to be ready for operation by 8 am. The event concludes at 12 pm and we must have all booths and materials removed by 1 pm. Coffee, water and snacks made by co-op vendors will be provided throughout the day for exhibitors.
