Summit Credit Union Earns National Honors as a Top Workplace
Financial cooperative named among best employers in Top Workplaces USA’s inaugural list
MADISON, Wis.—Summit Credit Union, a Madison-based financial cooperative, has been named one of the nation’s best workplaces in 2021. The list, released for the first time by Top Workplaces USA, celebrates companies across the country with exceptional employee engagement and company culture.

Nominated organizations were judged using a company-wide survey measuring employee engagement. Survey categories include communication and cooperation, leadership and innovation, development opportunities, leadership and more.
Survey responses were collected by Energage, an independent company specializing in the measurement of employee engagement and analysis of company culture. The nominated organizations with the highest aggregate levels of engagement were categorized by size and named to the Top Workplaces list. With 672 employees across 45 locations and its Cottage Grove headquarters, Summit received the honor for the 500-999 employee category.
