Summit Credit Union Opens First Full‐Service Branch in Greendale, Continues Greater Milwaukee Growth

No. 1 mortgage lender in Wisconsin arrives in Greendale with location featuring smart lockers

MADISON, Wis. — Summit Credit Union continues to grow its presence in the Milwaukee area with the opening of its first Greendale branch. The 1,986‐square‐foot branch is located at 5255 S. 76th Street, Suite #140, across from Southridge Mall.

“We know members want greater access and more convenience when it comes to their finances, and that’s what we’re giving them with the opening of this Greendale branch,” said Summit CEO & President Kim Sponem. “Joining the Greendale community not only helps us offer financial knowledge and tools to more people in the area, it also gives them the resources to make life easier, like smart lockers to give them after-hours access and Personal Teller Machines, which up the game compared to ATMs. That’s what we’re here to do: help take the stress out of money management.”

A new feature includes 24/7 access to smart lockers, which allow members to safely and easily pick up items like replacement debit cards. The branch also includes Personal Teller Machines, which give members access to a live teller via video, in the branch and drive-up lane. Members can access the Personal Teller Machines in the branch and drive-up 7:30 am–7 pm Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am–6 pm Fridays and 8 am–1 pm on Saturdays.

The branch lobby will be open from 9 am–5 pm Monday through Thursday, 9 am–6 pm Fridays and 9 am–12 pm on Saturdays. Smart lockers will have 24/7 access.

“The new technologies we are putting in place at this location just enhance our existing digital tools like online banking and video lending appointments, not to mention the great ways we serve our members face-to-face in the branch and over the phone via our contact center,” added Sponem.

The new location brings Summit’s total to 48 branches across south‐central and southeastern Wisconsin. Summit is the state’s second‐largest credit union, the top SBA lender in Wisconsin among credit unions and the #1 mortgage lender in Wisconsin.*
