Madison’s Journey in Project Money
It’s such a blessing to go through this Project Money journey with my daughter, who is still in 3rd grade, learning how to add and subtract and just recently multiplication. When I first told Madison that we were in Project Money, her first reaction was “are we going to win more money to go to Disney World!?” I was like…sure that could work. Then she got to do a photoshoot and her song she made up was, “It’s all about me, not about my mama, it’s all about me, not my mama” as we got ready for our photoshoot. Then the cameras came to our house and she got to get interviewed which she really took to the news reporter Leigh Mills, mocking her action as she interviewed me. Now seeing herself on a billboard and saving up for her desired toy, I ask Madison a few questions about her journey so far.
What do you think about the Project Money?
Madison: It’s good, I feel like my mom forgets we are in Project Money because she bought a T.V. (Not true guys!)
What have you done to help your mom during Project Money?
Madison: I sold my rocks collection and saved 24 dollars. Even though I did spend it on Wubble Bubble.
Do you think you saving your money and making money helps your mom?
How do you think it helps?
Madison: Not asking her for money, and making my own money. Now we both can be making money and saving at the same time.
How was it seeing yourself on the billboard?
Madison: I liked it! I always wanted to be famous.
Anything else you want to share?
Madison: I really like being in Project Money, and that’s all.
