September has been really busy at the hospital and is showing no signs of slowing down. I have been picking up some extra shifts so my check has been changing slightly. Terrance had a review at work and received a raise! What to do with the extra cash? Previously we would have ‘treated’ ourselves for our hard work by spending our money. Buying ourselves something we wanted but definitely didn’t need, bigger TV anyone?

I think many of us equate responsible money managing to not spending money on non-essentials to focus on debt and saving. No doubt that is part of it, but we have found it need not be that strict.

Every time the season changes I want to update my wardrobe. I don't need to, I want to. I feel like a lot of you ladies out there can relate.
