Plan for Success
Week # 9 of Project Money challenge has been pretty productive. My coach Murphy and I got to meet with a mortgage loan officer. I got a better idea one how much I should be saving and what my next best steps toward being a home owner should be. My homework assignment was to meet with a business accountant to get a better view on what my next best steps in my business should be. I also set up my Money Minder account online at Summit Credit Union.
Meeting with a business accountant was amazing, I did a video vlog about it, go check it out! Tunji-Lesi business accountants is a major help to me. He is having me go back to take an honest look at my business structure and figure out what my income goal is and what it will take for me to get there. I am so very thankful for his help and my coach Murphy suggesting that as a resource. Looking at my financial goals is really easy now that I set up my Money Minder online at Summit Credit Union. It’s very helpful! It shows you your assets and debts, of course my debt is more than my assets, but that is ok. This helps me to see what I need to work on to achieve my goals.
Once I set up my goals on Money Minder it showed me how much money I need to save monthly to reach my goals. It takes out all the leg work for you. You just put in your bills, income and goals and it shows you what you need to do it get to your goal. So, if you don’t have a financial coach that is ok, go online to set up Money Minder with your account. It is very easy and helpful. Seriously, go do it now!
