Setting up my environment for success
This week I met with my coach and we talked about what are ways to cut back some of my spending and save money. To be honest I’m not a big spender. First, there’s not a lot to spend being a small business owner and secondly, I like to keep things simple. Therefore, I have to be honest and look at the income from my business, that’s a tough one. What is holding back my income, what systems do I have in place to keep leads and potential clients coming in a continual basis? To be honest I have not been productive in this area of my business which is the only way my income can potential increase. I noticed I get things going really well clients and then I stop working on my business. Which is why I live in scarcity every other month when I go for months without income. Therefore, I have committed to one day a week, to build a habit on working on a system to generated clients and leads.
Another, homework assignment is to come up with how many saving accounts I want and the level of priority to each saving account. After our meeting I knew already I wanted a saving account for my business education funds. I have already put some money in my business saving account this week! Woohoo! Even though it is a small amount, it felt really good, just the act its self in saving. I know for sure saving for a house, and vacations is very important to me as well. I look forward to growing those saving accounts during this challenge and after. Setting up my environment for success. What are somethings you can do to set your financial environment up for success? Let’s go get it yall!!!
