It’s so easy to just eat out

I grocery shop at different stores; however, I recently downloaded the Pick N’ Save app. I can download e-coupons to my rewards card. Also, you can get twice as many fuel points with the fuel coupon on weekends for a limited time. Cheaper gas and coupons?? What could be better when trying to save money?! I found some really cool deals on things I normally purchase for groceries this weekend, not to mention getting double fuel points. I may have had to buy 6 things, but it was mix and match and I would have bought all the things anyway.

Hello Week 4 of Project Money! Bustopher Jones, Grizabella, Jellylorum, Macavity, and Mister Mistoffelees—who are all of these eclectic characters and what do they have in common? Eliot, they are probably better known as characters in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Cats as Weber based the tale on Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats. The musical tells the story of a group of cats called Jellicles and the night they go through a ceremony where one cat is chosen to be reborn and thus come back to live a new life.

It’s now Week 3 of Project Money. In the late 1960’s the musical made its debut on Broadway.  We don’t see the musical performed too often in high schools due to its controversial subject matter with its overt sexuality, depiction of illegal drug use, and irreverence to the American flag. However, the musical tells the story of a group of friends who struggle to balance their beliefs with the more conservative views of their parents and the rest of society.

To DIY or not to DIY?

Happy Father’s Day to all - the weather these last few days is full-swing summertime! We’ve recently been in a bit of a pickle.  Our newly purchased home sits on a one acre lot, so of course, our riding lawn mower bit the dust!

We’ve been looking into what the cost is to purchase a NEW riding lawn mower. Then we got to thinking, if we’re going to purchase a riding lawn mower we better invest in a model that has an available attachment to push snow (we have a long driveway!). THEN we saw the dollar signs and ran for the hills!
