What do you like to do in your spare time (include employment, extracurricular activities, community activities, etc.)?
I am one of the East High School Leaders for MENA (Middle Eastern North African) Student Association and a member of Raza United and Escalera. I enjoy volunteering, playing basketball, and hanging out with family.
What’s your favorite subject?
When it comes to money, what would you like to learn?
I would like to learn how to invest responsibly without losing tons of money. Also, how to pay back student loans with as little interest as possible.
If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
I would pay off any family and personal debt and create community projects to help people in need.
What is the most exciting thing you have ever done?
I went on a three-month vacation to visit family in Jordan.
What have you done that really scared you?
I took a transatlantic flight even though I have aviophobia/aerophobia (fear of flying).
What excites you most about Project Teen Money?
I’m most excited about asking my friends and community for their ideas and exploring people’s values about money while also giving them financial advice.
