Meet Ethan

2018 Project Teen Money Ethan senior videographer soccer player

Ethan, a senior at Memorial, would like to be a game designer. He would like to attend Savannah College of Art and Design, the University of Southern California or New York University.

What’s your favorite subject?

Video or Math

What do you like to do in your spare time?

"I am part of the Spartan News and the soccer team. I like to work on videos for my YouTube channel and I also spend time volunteering at Glen Stephens Elementary School."

What is the most exciting thing you’ve ever done?

“I traveled to Costa Rica on a volunteer trip the summer before my senior year.”

When it comes to money, what would you like to learn more about?

“I would like to learn how to invest wisely and save safely, to produce a strong base to pursue my creative endeavors, without worry of serious financial debt.”

What has scared you the most?

“A substitute teacher showed the class Ghost Busters when I was 8, and I had nightmares for 7 months.”

What would you do with $1 million?

“I would likely invest and donate most of it, and use part of it slowly on things that could make me and my friends happier. I wouldn’t change where I live or my class status though.”

What excites you most about Project Teen Money?

“I’m excited about the opportunity to make more videos with a great prompt and a very relevant purpose.”

"At the end of this challenge, I hope to improve my video skills, expand the video genre in which I write in, boost my portfolio, and most importantly pick up skills in money handling that will help me continue to do what I love comfortably."
