Meet Molly

Molly | Project Teen Money Participant
Year in school:

Freshman at Madison West

When I grow up I want to be:

A lawyer or freelance artist

When I go to college, I would like to attend:

New York University, where I would like to play volleyball

What do you like to do in your spare time (include employment, extracurricular activities, community activities, etc.)?

I enjoy drawing, writing fiction, hanging out with my friends, video editing, playing volleyball, babysitting, and playing the drums and bass guitar.

What’s your favorite subject?

I like Spanish and History the most.

When it comes to money, what would you like to learn?

I would like to learn the best ways to invest.

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?

I would do a few things: donate a portion to charity (refugees, animal rescue, sheltering the homeless); invest some; and spend the rest!

What is the most exciting thing you have ever done?

I traveled to Scotland, where I took a trip on the train that was used as the “Hogwarts Express” in the Harry Potter movies.

What have you done that really scared you?

Coming out to my friends and family

What excites you most about Project Teen Money?

I’m most excited about the opportunity to share my creativity and ideas about important topics.

Name three words to describe you:

Freshman, Volleyball Player, Drummer

“At the end of this challenge, I hope that I have learned a lot about money – saving it, spending it, investing it – and have been able to share what I’ve learned with others in ways that they find interesting and informative.”
