Key Changes and Important Dates

We’ve kept things as familiar as possible to make your transition a smooth one. Here’s what you need to know about key differences:

New Online Banking Link and Mobile App

  • Instead of signing in to “SCU Business,” you’ll see a new link online (in the same place you go to now) called "Commercial Online Banking" – or access through our new mobile app.

Debit Cards

  • If you currently have a Summit business debit card, you’ll get a new debit card in the mail as a replacement, for use as of March 2.
    • No change to Summit checks – keep using any that you have now.

Loans

  • Your current Loan Account and Note Number will be consolidated to one number, renamed as your “Loan Number,” and will no longer have a hyphen. (For ex., an account number of 12345678-123 will now be 12345678123.)
    • It's important to update this number with any other financial institutions used to make Summit loan payments.
  • Closed loan history will reflect any loans you close from the launch of your new Commercial Online Banking and on (vs. all previous loan closing history).

Member Statements and Notices

  • These will include the same information they do now – but with a fresh, new look.
    • Note for e-statements: You’ll get a paper statement in the mail for February 28, 2026, even if you normally get e-statements. Your e-statements for March/April and on will be available as usual, and your e-statement history for September 2025-February 2026 will show in your digital banking in May.

Transaction History

  • The last 3 months of transactions will be available right away in your new Commercial Online Banking. Over time, you’ll build a rolling history of up to 13 months of your most recent transactions.

Alerts and Controls

  • Any account alerts or controls you currently have set up in your SCU Business banking will need to be reset in your new Commercial Online Banking.
You’ll still enjoy the Treasury Management Services you expect from Summit—including ACH Origination, Desktop Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), Online Wire Origination and Positive Pay. Your current wire and ACH templates will carry over just as they are today.Plus, enjoy easier access to ACH Notification of Changes and Returns! You’ll now be able to see these right in your online banking. Access and manage them at your convenience.

Note these key changes for Treasury Management users:

International Wires

  • Watch for more great capabilities for international wires. Updated information on this is coming soon! Along with international wires, you’ll still be able to submit domestic wires as part of your Treasury Management services in your new Commercial Online Banking.
    • Until further notice, if you need to send an international wire, please email us at

Dual Control

  • Positive Pay: Dual control is not available for Positive Pay in new Commercial Online Banking.
  • ACH/Wires: Dual control is available for ACH/wires in new Commercial Online Banking at the company level, meaning all users will need their ACH or wire transactions approved if this is in place.
    • If you had dual control turned on at the company level before in your SCU Business banking:
      • This will automatically be turned on for you when we launch your new Commercial Online Banking March 2.
      • You’ll be able to set up users with ACH/wire approval permissions the same way you did before.
    • If you did not previously have dual control turned on at the company level and were only using this functionality at the user level:
      • Setting dual control on a user level for certain services is not available in new Commercial Online Banking, but you can have approval permissions across all users with dual control at the company level.
      • To have dual control at the company level for ACH/wires, reach out to Summit Credit Union at so we can turn it on for you on or after March 2.

Install your new mobile app. The new SCU Commercial mobile app is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play (search "SCU Commercial"). If you had the previous SCU Business mobile app, you can also open that and it will automatically prompt you to download the new, updated SCU Commercial version. When prompted, enter your new Summit Credit Union ID, then Continue to enter your password.Verify your identity (using the 2-step authentication you already chose during first-time login).For your added convenience, opt to turn on Face ID or fingerprint access:

  • On the next sign-in, select Sign in with a passkey (bottom of your login screen) to sign in with biometrics going forward.

Important To-Dos Once You're Logged In (On or After March 2)

1. Group your accounts based on your needs. When you first log in, you’ll see two starter account groups that you can easily customize. Rename them for your needs, such as Operations or Payroll, and add the accounts you want in each group. You can always delete or add groups, too. on grouping your accounts.2. Customize your dashboard. Choose the features and accounts you want to see most on the main screen when you log in — from your go-to accounts or reports to quick transfer abilities.
  • Select Configure Dashboard in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
  • Add, remove, edit, resize and click-and-drag available features to create the setup you want.
on customizing your dashboard.
3. Make sure you go into your new bill pay, if your company previously had access to it. You (or the administrator of your Commercial Online Banking, if anyone other than you), will need to go into bill pay first before any sub-users who had access to it before can get in. From that point on, they’ll regain access to bill pay with no need for you to re-enter them.4. Reset any alerts or controls you had created for your accounts. While these will not carry over to your new online or mobile banking, resetting them is quick and easy — get started by clicking your profile in the upper right of your screen.5. Reset non-administrator users for internal transfers and online statements. Your current administrators will automatically have full access in your new Commercial Online Banking. All other users will have view-only access to the accounts they see now — any permissions beyond that for internal transfers and online statements will need to be reset.6. If you use Intuit products like QuickBooks or Quicken, reconnect your new Commercial Online Banking accounts to those applications. The Intuit connection name is changing from “Summit Credit Union – Business” to “Summit Credit Union – Commercial.”
  • It’s important to note that Intuit services will be temporarily unavailable for up to 5 business days after we launch your new Commercial Online Banking on March 2. During that time, we recommend you manually download a QFX/QBO file until you can re-connect to Quicken or QuickBooks.
