June 22, 2022
undefined
MADISON, Wis. — Summit Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative, is the top mortgage lender in the state of Wisconsin, according to data collected under the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA).
For more than a decade, Summit Credit Union has been the #1 Mortgage Lender in Dane County.
“We’re proud to be the #1 home lender in the state of Wisconsin,” said Summit Credit Union CEO & President Kim Sponem. “We will continue to help thousands of members buy their first homes or refinance their current homes so they can save thousands on their mortgage payments. Summit offers the whole package with financial wellness training to help members make these decisions, excellent mortgage lending services for quick approvals and business loan expertise that earned us the recognition as Small Business Administration’s No. 1 lender among credit unions in the state for our 11th straight year.”
Data was collected for 2021 under the HMDA, a federal law requiring annual disclosure of mortgage data by financial institutions and reported by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). *
Summit provides mortgages and Home Equity Loans and Lines of Credit (HELOCs) throughout Wisconsin. The financial cooperative offers access to Mortgage Loan Officers at its 49 locations, online and via video appointments, maximizing convenience and offering greater flexibility to members.
