  • Schuster’s Family Farm (Madison area): Started in 1990, Schuster’s has all the cool things about fall together in one place. Start by conquering the corn maze (check out the flashlight course at night!), and then pick your favorite orange beauty in the pumpkin patch. Other options include hayrides (there’s haunted course for you brave souls), nightly bonfires, delicious caramel apples and a petting zoo! Get full details at  .
  • Pewit’s Nest (Sauk County): Formed from one of the last glaciers in the state, Pewit’s Nest offers visitors beautiful views, scenic surroundings and even cliff jumping for those who are more daring. Officially designated as one of the Wisconsin’s few State Natural Areas, the nest offers free parking. Did we mention how beautiful it is? Trust us. 
  • Bear Den Zoo & Petting Farm (Waterford, WI): The name says it all – what else does your family need? In addition to the great animals at the farm, the small admission price includes entry to the zoo and a hayride! What’s more, the farm (family-owned for over 25 years) offers free pumpkins on days any hayrides are rained out. Lastly, the farm stays open through October so you officially have all month!   • Apple Holler (Sturtevant, WI): Similar to the Schuster Family Farm, Sturtevant’s Apple Holler is a family-owned farm and apple orchard with a variety of activities and items to enjoy. Guests can pick apples, enjoy hayrides and even catch dinner theater shows! They also have extensive brunch and lunch menus and host a series of farmer’s markets! Get in on the fun here:
