Welcome to Project Money
Life changing and award winning financial education
Celebrating its 10th season, Project Money is a unique chance for four teams to help take control of their finances and improve their daily lives. Throughout the program, the teams work directly with a Summit financial coach who provides personalized strategies and resources to make impactful changes.
more than money
Project Money is about more than just managing money – it’s about achieving a better life. Additionally, it goes beyond participating teams by inspiring their friends, families and neighbors in surrounding communities to follow along and learn from their shared experiences.
“We created Project Money to help participants better their daily lives in a format that also inspires thousands of our neighbors to improve their financial wellness and lives, too. At its heart, Project Money is a public financial education program that helps people, families and larger communities become financially stronger through real-life financial tips they can put into action.”
-Kim Sponem, CEO & President
Watch as the participants build budgets, pay off debt and figure out how to make every dollar count! At the end of the seven-month challenge, we’ll see which team demonstrates the most change, and the winner will be rewarded a $10,000 prize, while the other three teams each receive $2,500.
Throughout the journey, we’ll document each team’s progress for the entire community to get inspired as they share their experiences on Madison’s NBC15 News, write weekly blogs, record monthly video blogs and post learnings on their Facebook pages.
You can follow their stories and candid conversations on Summit’s website by reading the Project Money blog, Summit’s own Money Smarts blog and Summit’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
