Scholarships
Taking the next step in your education is exciting, and a big deal! We’d love to help. At Summit we believe in supporting and furthering the education of members in our community, which is why every year we award three Board of Directors Scholarships as well as host Project Teen Money for local high school students.
Board of Directors Scholarships
Each year three $1,500 continuing education scholarships are awarded to members who are high school seniors or college students.
Summit is no longer accepting applications for the 2021 scholarship. Applications for the 2022 scholarship will be available in January 2022.
Credit Union Movement Scholarship
Each year two continuing education scholarships are awarded to high school seniors or college students who have a parent, grandparent or legal guardian who is a Summit Credit Union Member and currently employed by CUNA, CUNA Mutual, WOCCU, CUES or Filene Research Institute. The first place winner will receive $1,500; the second place winner will receive $1,000.

Project Teen Money
Project Teen Money is a unique challenge that encourages young adults to teach others about saving, spending and giving back by creating three short videos. Each year, eight students from East, La Follette, Memorial and West high schools in Madison are selected to compete for a $2,500 grand prize scholarship or one of five $500 scholarships.
