Taking the next step in your education is exciting, and a big deal! We’d love to help. At Summit we believe in supporting and furthering the education of members in our community.
Credit Union Movement Scholarship
Each year two continuing education scholarships are awarded to high school seniors or college students who have a parent, grandparent or legal guardian who is a Summit Credit Union Member and currently employed by CUNA, TruStage, WOCCU, CUES or Filene Research Institute. The first place winner will receive $1,500; the second place winner will receive $1,000.
Summit is no longer accepting applications for the 2024 scholarship. Applications for the 2025 scholarship will be available in January 2025.
Project Teen Money
Project Teen Money is a unique challenge that encourages young adults achieve financial success. Each year, up to 10 students from Madison's East, La Follette, Memorial and West high schools and One City Schools will be selected to compete for a $3,000 grand prize scholarship. Second place receives a $2,000 scholarship, third place receives a $1,000 scholarship, fourth and fifth place receive a $750 scholarship and all remaining runners-up receive a $500 scholarship (yes, all video finalists get a scholarship!). Summit Faust Scholarship
This $5,000 annual scholarship was established by Summit Credit Union in honor and appreciation for Andy Faust’s 28 years as CEO of Summit Credit Union. Each year, one scholarship is awarded to a high school senior who is a member of both the AVID/TOPS program and Summit Credit Union.
