  • Log in to Summit’s digital banking
  • Select Make a Transfer in the Main Menu
From another financial through External Transfers in Online Banking
  • Log in to Digital Banking and select Make a Transfer in the Main Menu.
  • To add an External Account, go to Make a Transfer in the Main Menu and select External Accounts. Once added and confirmed you can make an External Transfer by going to Make a Transfer.
Set up an automatic payment from another financial
  • Please complete the ACH
One-time payment from another financial using a debit card, checking or savings account
  • You can use a VISA, Mastercard or Discover debit card, checking account or savings account.
Pay by Phone using debit card

You can transfer to and from your accounts at a different financial institution through External Transfers in Online and Mobile Banking if you are an owner on both accounts. There is no fee for this service. Once you have successfully set up and confirmed your External Account number, you can set up External Transfers right away. External Transfers take approximately 2 business days to post to the accounts. Download the Summit CU mobile app either through the App Store or via Google Play below then please follow the prompts to get set up in the application. All of the accounts normally available to you through Online Banking are available through your Summit Credit Union mobile banking application. We are required to provide Account Statements to ensure the accuracy of your accounts.Sign up for Paperless Statements today! Here are some reasons you should consider enrolling:
  • Fast & convenient-- Paperless Statements arrive sooner than traditional paper statements and can be viewed from any device.
  • Reduce waste--help reduce the amount of paper that is printed.
  • Secure--online banking is a safe interface by which you can access your statement.
If you enroll in Paperless Statements, we will no longer mail a paper statement.
To add a joint owner, you and the individual will need to to sign the necessary paperwork and add them to the account. This cannot be done online. Note: We require uniform titling for the entire account number. This means the individual must be added as a joint owner on all shares and loans on that account number. If you have loans on your account, the loans would need to be refinanced as joint loans.

Paperless Statements are online statements that can be viewed electronically and can replace printed statements. If you are enrolled in Paperless Statements, you will receive an email when a statement or notice is available. Since the information is electronic, you can access it at anytime by logging in to Online or Mobile Banking and selecting "Documents & Statements” in the Main Menu.Please note: If you are a digital banking user and turn your Paperless Settings to “Off,” a paper statement will be mailed to the primary member’s address for $1 per statement. You can access your electronic statement by logging into Online or Mobile Banking and selecting “Documents & Statements” in the Main Menu. You can opt in for paperless (electronic) statements in Online or Mobile Banking by selecting Documents & Statements in the Main Menu and choosing Paperless Settings. Mobile Deposits

In order to view your daily deposit limit simply log in to the Summit Credit Union mobile app and select the mobile deposit feature. On this screen your daily deposit limit will be listed. In order to utilize Summit’s mobile deposit feature you must meet the following criteria:
  • Must have an open checking account (mobile deposit is not available for Assured checking accounts)
  • Account must be in good standing.
You can deposit checks through our from your smartphone or another device:
  • Simply use our mobile banking app to take a picture of both sides of the check you would like to deposit
  • Select the account to receive the deposit
  • You’re done!
Mobile Deposits are credited immediately but may be subject to a 4 business day hold.In order to utilize Summit’s mobile deposit feature you must meet the following criteria:
  • Must have an open (mobile deposit is not available for Assured checking accounts)
  • Account must be in good standing.

Please sign the check within the signature area on the back and include the notation "For Mobile Deposit Only". You can make mobile deposits anytime through our mobile app. Please access Mobile Deposit in the mobile app to view your daily limits.Checks deposited through Summit’s mobile deposit may be subject to a 4 business day hold. In order to view your daily mobile deposit limit simply access Mobile Deposit in the Summit Credit Union mobile app. Your daily deposit limit will be listed. Checks deposited through Summit’s mobile deposit may be subject to a 4 business day hold. After your check is successfully submitted through mobile deposit the funds will be added in your account balance immediately. Please be aware that if the check is subject to a hold then the funds will not be added to your available balance until the hold has expired. Members can utilize Summit’s mobile deposit to deposit checks that are made payable to at least one of the owners of the account.Items that cannot be deposited through mobile deposit include:
  • Any third party check or item
  • Any check or item issued to you by a foreign institution in a foreign country or not payable in U.S. currency.
  • Any check or item that contains evidence of alteration.

As long as your account is eligible to use Summit’s mobile deposit then you would simply need to download and login through the Summit Credit Union mobile app. Select the mobile deposit option from the menu bar to deposit your check!
If your account is qualified for mobile deposit, it will be listed in the menu bar of our mobile app. In order to utilize this feature our members simply need to download and log in through the Summit Credit Union mobile app.

After depositing the check please store it in a secure area for 15 days. After 15 days you can safely destroy the original check. After you receive confirmation through the Summit mobile app that your deposit has been received successfully please prominently mark the check as being “Electronically Presented” or “Mobile Deposit and the date”.

Bill Payer

There are no restrictions on bills you can pay through Bill Payer! You can also easily pay individuals or set up transfers to your accounts at other financial institutions.

There are no monthly fees for online banking or Bill Pay. The method in which Bill Payer sent the payment determines when the payment will be received and processed by the payee and when the funds will be withdrawn from your account. To see how your payment was sent, access your Bill Payer account and click on the recent payment amounts on the right side column.Bill Payer has 3 different ways it will pay a bill: 
  • A draft check - this check will clear your account at Summit once the payee has received and processed the check on their end.
  • Single check - the funds will be pulled from your account electronically on the due date. The payee will receive a physical check to be applied to the payment.
  • Electronic - the funds will be pulled and electronically received by the payee on the due date.

Follow these steps to enroll in Bill Payer:1. Login to Online or Mobile Banking
2. Select the Bill Pay in the Main Menu
3. If you receive the Bill Payer Account Authorization screen indicating a change to the account number format, select Authorize Changes (no changes will be made to the account number)
4. Select I Agree after reading the disclosures and follow the prompts to complete the enrollment process
