How do I qualify for Early Payday?
Early Payday is a benefit available to all Summit members with a personal account! It's included with your account and gives you access to your paycheck up to two days early when you have qualifying direct deposits.
Do I need to sign up, or is it automatic?
There’s no need to sign up for Early Payday. When you enroll in direct deposit with a Summit account, it’s an automatic added perk giving you extra convenience.
How early will I get my payroll deposit?
With Early Payday, you can receive your payroll deposit up to two days early. Once we receive your qualified payroll deposit, we’ll process it and have it available in your account as soon as two days before your payday.
Does every payroll direct deposit qualify?
It’s possible to get Early Payday with every paycheck you have set up through qualifying Automated Clearing House (ACH) direct deposits. Early availability depends on when we receive and process your payroll deposit from your payroll department.
Can I spend the money immediately once it arrives early?
Yes, once the money is in your account – it’s yours! You are safe to spend it as you normally would, you’ve just got access to it earlier now so you can enjoy more flexibility.
My payroll came in, but it wasn’t available two days early. Why not?
Early access to your payroll deposit depends on how your employer submits the deposit. We recommend checking with your payroll department to confirm that the transaction is being coded as a payroll deposit. If it’s not, it may not qualify for early availability.
Will this impact any of my automatic transfers I have set up?
No, this will not impact your automatic transfers. Those will continue to go through on the scheduled date you set.
