You’ve got big dreams and important plans. Now take a few minutes to manage the details that will make them come true – like getting your accounts in order and adding critical deadlines to your calendar.
Account Information
Do we have your latest contact info?
Have you moved? Changed your name, email address or phone number? Make sure Summit has your latest contact information – we’d hate for you to miss important tax statements or account updates. To check the information Summit has on file for you, go to online banking or give us a call at 800-236-5560.
Have you assigned beneficiaries on your accounts?
It’s important to do this with every account you have at Summit – including your retirement accounts. This will eliminate hassles for your loved ones and make it easier to disburse funds.
2025 IRA Information
Contributions. You have until April 15, 2026 to make a contribution for the 2025 tax year. For any 2025 contributions made between January 1, 2026 and April 15, 2026, be sure to pick the “prior year” option when you make your IRA deposit.
Contribution Limits. The annual limit is $7,000 for each eligible individual. Are you over 50? You can make an additional “catch-up” contribution of $1,000 (for a total limit of $8,000 per person).
Required Minimum Distributions (RMD). Have you set up automatic RMD? We’ll calculate your RMD based on your Summit IRA, including any IRA certificates. If you also have IRA funds at another financial institution, you might want to make an additional withdrawal to make sure you’re covered on those funds too. If you want to change the amount calculated by the system, you’ll need to submit a revised written request. Have questions or need assistance? Give us a call at 800-236-5560 or
