Do we have your latest contact info?
Have you moved? Changed your name, email address or phone number? Make sure Summit has your latest contact information – we’d hate for you to miss important tax statements or account updates. To check the information Summit has on file for you, go to online banking or give us a call at 800-236-5560.
Have you assigned beneficiaries on your accounts?
It’s important to do this with every account you have at Summit – including your retirement accounts. This will eliminate hassles for your loved ones and make it easier to disburse funds.
2024 IRA Information

Contributions. You have until April 15, 2025 to make a contribution for the 2024 tax year. For any 2024 contributions made between January 1, 2025 and April 15, 2025, be sure to pick the “prior year” option when you make your IRA deposit.

Contribution Limits. The annual limit is $7,000 for each eligible individual. Are you over 50? You can make an additional “catch-up” contribution of $1,000 (for a total limit of $8,000 per person).

Required Minimum Distributions (RMD). Have you set up automatic RMD? We’ll calculate your RMD based on your Summit IRA, including any IRA certificates. If you also have IRA funds at another financial institution, you might want to make an additional withdrawal to make sure you’re covered on those funds too.
