Learning to be resourceful

On our weekly trip the grocery store, we are overwhelmed at the price of goods. We don’t eat a lot of bread, but we have taken on the project of making our own bread. Saving money all around.

My car (Diana) needs brakes, tires and some exhaust work – everything seems to need repairs at once. We decided to become a one-vehicle family. Selling my car, hanging tight on the spending and waiting until spring to start looking for a new car. Our trips around town have been strategically planned, so we’re saving money on gas.
