Financial and Physical Setbacks

September 18, 2024 I've experienced some health challenges this week, including an allergic reaction to a treatment on Wednesday. Stress is a major component of my health issues. I'm disappointed for not prioritizing my health but also recognize that, like finances, a small issue can become a huge one when ignored. In the coming weeks, I will have a better idea of how things are progressing. Just as I've discussed financial empathy, I think relieving the disappointment of what I could have spent less time internalizing and moving forward with how to eliminate stress is essential. I also think sometimes things that I haven’t focused on as I should in the past, such as my finances, creates a level of pressure as I try to navigate how I arrived in this position.I want to demonstrate the same compassion as I do to others to understand with patience things can change when you invest and consider measurable steps! I'm doing alright as I take time to just rest and respond honestly about my health in my various workspaces. I can rest without feeling guilty about discontinuing work or being concerned about established timelines. It's better to be fully present than hanging on for dear life. It's the same reason I decided to accept the challenge to decrease debt and increase savings. I'll feel better in every way!
