Managing Our Family Budget: Shifts, Crawling and Celebrations
September 18, 2024
>
Britt and Matt
As Matt transitions to the second shift, we are adjusting our daily routines to fit this new schedule. Though it presents a few challenges, it also brings some unexpected benefits, like more family time in the morning!Meanwhile, our little Oliver has begun to crawl! This exciting milestone means it's time to invest in a few safety items to ensure our home is a safe place for his explorations. We've carefully prioritized our purchases, focusing on baby gates, fireplace covers and a play pen when needed, all while keeping a close eye on our budget. With Britt's birthday this past week, we've managed to stay within funds for a modest celebration week. Our aim is to make the day special without overspending. Planning and being mindful of our expenses have allowed us to balance these needs effectively.Stay tuned for a positive change to our budget next week! We can't wait to share some great news that will help us manage our finances even better.Thank you for following along on our budgeting journey!
