Matt’s Graduation Signals Our New Budget Win!

December 18, 2024 We are thrilled to share some wonderful news—Matt has successfully graduated from his electrician apprenticeship! This major milestone not only signifies the culmination of years of hard work and dedication but also brings about a positive shift for our family dynamics. With Matt’s graduation, a significant burden has been lifted from my (Britt) plate. The intense demands of Matt’s apprenticeship meant I often had to juggle multiple responsibilities. Now, with Matt stepping into a more stable role, I can finally breathe a sigh of relief and enjoy some well-deserved downtime.Starting next year, Matt will transition to the first shift. This change has numerous benefits, the most notable being less time Oliver will spend at daycare. With Matt's new schedule, he can now pick up Oliver earlier, allowing for more family time and reducing daycare costs. The financial advantages of Matt moving to the first shift are significant. Not only will we save on daycare expenses, but Matt’s more consistent schedule will also enable better financial planning. This transition means more money in our pockets, contributing positively to our household budget.Amidst all these exciting changes, our little bundle of joy, Oliver, has turned one! This milestone is a heartwarming reminder of how quickly time flies and how much we’ve grown as a family over the past year. As we embrace these new changes, we are filled with optimism and excitement for the future. Matt’s graduation, his new first shift schedule and the financial benefits all signal a new chapter for us. Here’s to more family time, financial stability and cherished moments together! We are grateful for the journey thus far and eagerly anticipate what lies ahead. Thank you for sharing in our joy and supporting us along the way.
