My Financial Goals, My Journey, My Progress!

October 2, 2024 When I was selected to participate in Project Money, I had to answer a few questions. One of the most important questions was, "What are your financial goals?" It was hard to think about this because I had many plans for my future that required spending money and many monthly financial responsibilities. I needed to organize, prioritize and create a clear plan to achieve my short- and long-term goals. I was overwhelmed, I needed help and resources to understand the process, and most importantly, I needed to see tangible progress.I have been working with my financial coach for a few months now, and I can see my progress. I noticed some changes in my financial habits, I have learned financial strategies, and I started to achieve some of my financial goals. Here are some things I have learned and some of my progress:
  • Created and manage my budget. I have a clear understanding of my income and expenses.
  • Defined my financial plan and goals. This is the road map to keep my budget and my habits in check.
  • Changed my spending habits. I understand how to manage my money according to my priorities and goals.
  • Saved more money.
  • Reduced my debt.
  • Set my emergency fund.
  • Started contributing to my retirement.
My journey as a participant in Project Money has been amazing. I have learned important financial lessons, and I know these lessons will help me to reach my financial goals and achieve financial freedom.
