We would like to continue on the subject of taking on DIY projects around the house to help save money.  THIS particular DIY project has been taking up a considerable amount of hours for us to complete...  We blogged at the beginning of Project Money about fixing up our 1981 John Deere riding lawn mower after a major breakdown last fall. Scott has spent many hours and a handful of dollars for used parts and has reached out to multiple companies for information on issues that keep coming up the deeper we get into this project of fixing up the old mower.
