Jaclyn and Kiara
Hello everyone, hope your week has gone well. Our week has been good so far; not too much has happened until cooking up great recipes and meal prepping. We wanted to take some time and let you all in on a financial mistake that we made and maybe you too can relate.

Adjusting to save a little each day
Angie and Cris
Well, here we are…. Week 4. How’s it going, you ask?  Well, I (Cris) recently returned from a fishing trip to Canada with family and friends. Now before Project Money even started, I started saving for this trip.

Jaclyn and Kiara
Hey there and welcome back! As you all know, we have been working to refinance all of Jaclyn’s loans in order to make them JOINT loans. Drum roll please….it was a success!! So let’s talk about the benefits of this. Not only will Kiara have four new positive trade lines to add to her credit score (auto loan, personal loan, overdraft protection and credit card) but we will be reducing all of the interest rates! Our personal loan, auto loan and credit card interest rates all went down at least 1.5-2%!

June Is Bustin’ Out All Over
Sara
Hello Week 5 of Project Money!  Ever feel like your spending is just busting out all over?  Life ever get you down?  Save up a little nest egg and WHAM life knocks you down with unexpected expenses?  This week for me, it was an unexpected broken garage door and a prescription that was more expensive than expected because the generic version was not available.  These are topics many of us can relate to.  Yes, I know it’s July but these thoughts are apropos during any month, and this week I wanted to spend time reflecting on the concept of balancing one’s savings
