Summit Credit Union Awarded on the Forbes America’s Best-in-State Credit Unions 2024

August 13, 2024 Madison, Wisc. – Summit Credit Union, a member-owned financial cooperative, has been awarded on the Forbes list of America’s Best-In-State Credit Unions 2024. “We are thrilled to be awarded by Forbes as one of the best credit unions in Wisconsin, especially because the recognition reflects members’ experience with our branches, digital services and financial advice,” said Summit Credit Union CEO & President Kim Sponem. “What’s most important to Summit is the confidence members have in our service and expertise. That’s what makes this recognition so exciting.” The ranking is based on two sources:
  1. An Independent Survey: Approximately 26,000 U.S. residents were surveyed online. Participants were asked to name all credit unions where they have a checking/savings account and rate the credit unions in six different subdimensions: Trust, Terms & Conditions, Branch Services, Digital Services, Customer Services, and Financial Advice.
  2. Publicly Available Reviews: For each credit union in each state, a sentiment analysis approach of publicly available online text reviews and ratings was applied.
In each state, credit unions with the highest combined score from the analysis of survey results and publicly available reviews are awarded. The survey score was rated 80% and publicly available reviews 20%. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., a statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The awards list can be viewed on the Forbes website*. *As with all Forbes lists, companies pay no fee to participate or be selected. About Statista Inc.
