Andrea has been with Summit for three years, starting as a Teller before becoming a Lending Advisor. She’s a first-time Project Money coach (and former nurse) who is passionate about helping others build healthy financial habits. She’s excited to be part of the life-changing moments ahead for Heather!Q: What’s the biggest thing that Project Money does for people?Project Money helps people take control of their finances and, ultimately, their lives. Financial change takes time, but working with a coach to build better money habits can help them reach goals in a way that may not have seemed possible before.Q: Any overall tips for Heather’s journey?Take it one step at a time. By focusing on small changes and consistent habits, you can make finances a lot less intimidating and see real progress. We’ll work on it together!Q: To you, what’s the one financial “must?”Start saving early and make building an emergency fund a priority. Having money set aside gives you peace of mind and helps you avoid relying on credit cards when unexpected expenses pop up. Q: What’s something you wish you could tell everyone about finances?Good credit matters more than you may think because it affects so much – borrowing money, buying a car, renting or buying a home and more. It’s important to use credit wisely, make payments on time and avoid taking on more debt than you can comfortably manage.Q: What do you love most about what you do at Summit?I love that I get to make a difference in people’s lives every day – similar to when I was a nurse. I often say financial health is still a form of healthcare because gaining control of your finances has such a huge impact on your overall well-being.Q: Fun fact about you?I’m getting married next June, and my fiancé and I are huge Taylor Swift fans. We share our home with two cats, Patches and Meredith Grey. In my free time, I like to draw, which I taught myself at a young age. But these days, I tend to play my Switch 2 – mostly for Disney Dreamlight Valley since Disney is also one of my favorites!
