This week, I had my first official meeting with my coach, Megan. We were able to discuss ideas we have touched base on prior to the meeting but also build on those ideas and discuss more. Megan is very open and willing to meet me where I’m at. She is able to present her ideas and also respects my comfort zone when I can be unsure. I really appreciate this because it gives me the feeling of being in control of this project. During this meeting, I was able to do more consolidating and close some accounts that were well overdue to be closed and consolidated (thanks for that push). I was also able to open a few higher-interest accounts. It’s been a while since I have opened or transferred any accounts, so I was super out of touch with what was available.A piece of advice to anyone following my story: If you’re wanting to open any new accounts and maximize your money, I definitely suggest checking out what options Summit has to offer. Some accounts even have a short-term higher-interest rate either until a certain date or under/up to a certain amount. This can help develop a short-term goal to work towards, which is what I’m doing with my long-term goal in mind.I’m continuing to be open to suggestions and change. I believe that everything always works itself out in the end, even if in the moment it seems like one choice will make or break you.
