Calculate Insurance Needs
This past week has been very challenging. We are nearing the end of baseball season, or so I thought. The All-Star team seems to be in the works for us, and we’re in the beginning of summer vacation and summer camp. I feel like we are always ripping and running. When I was a kid and I heard adults say “there aren’t enough hours in the day,” I never understood it because I felt like days were long, but as an adult I understand it now more than ever! The main struggle is still eating out or bringing home take out. It’s so convenient, especially after a long day at work and after a night of baseball practice or a game. I know that cutting that out would save so much money, and I’m sure there are other quick meal options that I need to consider, but hopefully I can find a way to budget in eating out to my finances because I don’t foresee my time increasing. As far as Project Money goes, I’m getting all of my financial documents together for my coach, and I realized how many different places I have financial obligation. One of the biggest topics my financial coach and I have discussed is consolidating where and when I can. I’m a creature of habit, and it was working for me to have my accounts how and where I did. All my documents were accessible as needed, which was not very frequent, but apparently not as convenient or on demand as I thought. I need them to be easily accessible for Project Money, but they should also be at hand when needed, anyway.I keep telling myself this is chess, not checkers. I’m still up for the challenge and remaining positive and optimistic. I’m excited to allow vulnerability and to learn ways to better my lifestyle when it comes to finances.
