Calculate Insurance Needs
Last week I talked about understanding that life requires spending money despite trying to save even though I have tried my hardest not to. Lately, I feel like I’ve had to spend left and right. With back to school right around the corner, the kids need new uniforms, shoes and so on as growth spurts mean we need to replace items from last year. I needed to get new tires which isn’t cheap and of course, mechanics find everything else that needs maintenance as well so that has been costly. I have been wanting to enjoy the last few weeks of summer and have some fun which adds up once everyone is accounted and paid for. I’m hoping there will be some calm to the spending storm once school is back in session and we aren’t so busy. While I constantly having saving on my mind, I’m still a person and have to live my life and remember that saving money consists of more than just not spending money. Even though not spending gets hard, Project Money has been a great accountability partner to keep me mindful of what and when I do spend and not spending out of my budget.
