Taking Steps Toward Goals by Tackling Debt

October 9, 2026 We have finally been able to consolidate our debt! It has been a journey, but we finally feel like we are getting somewhere. It’s been so rewarding to pay off high interest loans and some credit cards that made it feel like we couldn’t get ahead. By consolidating, we’re saving over $500 a month – and $80,000 in interest payments overall! Especially with our new house payment, this is a huge win. We were also able to fix one of our vehicles with this change too.Overall, feel like we are taking a step in the right direction even though we took a big step back by taking on the debt of the house – it is good debt that helps us strengthen our financial future. We feel like none of this would have been achieved without the guide of our financial coach. The appreciation for her is unmatched. Thank you, Rachel!
