Cleared To Close!

November 23, 2022 We were notified this week that we have been cleared to close for our new home. We are so excited to move in and have been so blessed with amazing friends who have given us so many BOXES and TAPE! Those two items are so expensive and make moving costs skyrocket. We have planned out our moving budget and anticipate spending around $800 for movers and $1,200-$1,800 initially for things we need for our home. We feel very privileged and grateful to our amazing sister who gave us a gift to help us purchase our home, and to our dad who has given us so much of his time and resources to help us make this dream a reality. We truly could not have done it without them. We feel overwhelmed with gratitude in this giving season and also feel it is a little bittersweet and Megan’s mother and both of Dom’s parents are not here to see the beautiful accomplishment we have made (in earthly form at least). We are hoping that we can keep a tight budget for the rest of the year and all of 2023 as we adjust to having higher living costs due to our mortgage being almost $1,000 higher than our current rent costs. We know we can do this!Thank you to everyone who has followed along with us, we feel the support every day and we keep going because so many people believe in us.
