Calculate Insurance Needs
This week we have been working on several things. Our son was accepted to our first-choice preschool and we have been overjoyed. With that joy, there is a bit of anxiety with the price that comes along with childcare. We wanted a childcare center that pays staff and teachers well as well as centers diversity and inclusion. We are so excited for Arrow and know he will grow and thrive there. The price per month is higher than many people’s mortgage payments, and along with us closing on a house soon, we know that it will be something we need to fit into our budget starting next Fall.As we get closer to closing on the house, we are so proud we have been able to keep our credit high, not use credit cards, and save a little bit. We are still not seeing the results we want with saving but are hoping to open a high yield savings account and also find a better plan for saving.Megan is taking a trip to California next week and is also hoping to keep the spending down for that trip as well, although we know that is not an easy feat!As we get ready to close this chapter, we are so grateful to Summit Credit Union and Jessica, our financial coach. Thanks for following along!
