Trick Or Treat?

November 2, 2022 This week we worked on spending less and we think we did a better job than previous weeks. We prepared a lot more meals at home and planned to not spend a lot of money on Halloween and Fall festivities even though the weather has been absolutely beautiful. We did get out to a haunted house and took the kiddos trick or treating which was very fun.We have secured our moving company which will be a $800-$1,000 expense and we are also looking at what items we can sell and give away before we move. We have also been working on budgeting for the larger mortgage payment as opposed to our rent payment currently. We think we are in a good place to save and still feel secure until at least the Fall of 2023 when we will be paying for childcare.We are feeling really great about where our credit scores are currently, they have not been wavering in the past couple of months, so it is a treat to check our scores on Experian or Credit Karma every now and then. We have never been in the “700 Club”, as Experian calls it, before so we are really proud.We close on our house November 30! It is amazing how the day is getting so close so fast! Our amazing realtor brought us some boxes, so we were able to save some money there.Thank you for following along!
