Calculate Insurance Needs
We finally closed on our home on November 30 and have been slowly working on moving responsibilities over the past few days. We have had to make a lot of decisions about what projects to take on first and are hoping to structure a capital needs assessment over the next five years to determine what projects are a priority and when.We have decided on new carpet for now and will take on painting and renovations in the kitchen this summer. We will also need to update some electrical work this year as well. We are hoping the budget we build for this will help us to stay financially healthy through all of the updates we want to do.As we get ready to close this chapter in our lives in just a few weeks, we are feeling to thankful for Project Money and know that we would not be here without this program. We feel as though we are making more healthy financial decisions and have a vision of where we want to be in one year, five years, and ten years. We were so used to thinking in the now all the time, we were not planning better for the future.Thank you for following along!
