This week, we have looked a lot to our friends, family and social media influencers for ways to save money and make our money work for us.Megan has been very inspired by friends who track not only intentions but also spending habits such as making to-do lists and spending less on groceries. Although every family and household have different circumstances and expenses, it is always great to take tips and tricks that others share and adjust them to fit your life. We managed to spend a lot less on groceries for the week and decided to follow a meal plan for this upcoming week for once.Meeting with our financial coach, Jessica, has been amazing as she was able to give us some encouragement on how far we have come and how much progress we have made already. Although we felt a little down on ourselves for not making the exact progress we wanted, she was able to show us that the commitments we have made and the changes and progress we are seeing is much greater than we think. We can’t get too down on ourselves for not being in a certain place, it takes away from all the progress we have made.We feel very proud of where we are currently, and we hope to continue to make the necessary changes to get even further next month.
